As founder of these two organizations, I held a leadership role in all of our marketing initiatives, including events organization and promotion, creative direction, online and print content distribution, social media and partner relationships.
The Alpine Club of Canada
Brand and communications specialist
Designed and conceptualized the unique brand and website for “Canada’s premier auction of mountain gear, art and experiences,” the ACC’s Summit Bid auction. This rebrand resulted in a tripling of the fundraiser’s proceeds over the previous year.
Built and managed editorial for the organization’s online storytelling platform, the ACC Aspects blog, coordinating distribution of content on this platform with the ACC’s bi-weekly newsletter, print publications, and social media platforms.
Redesigned layout styles and editorial vision for ACC’s print publication, the Gazette.

Marketing and development
I wrote and designed roughly a dozen customized fundraising packages (resulting in $2M in sponsorships), created the “Transcend Typical” slogan for the 35th Midsummer Ball fundraising event, wrote numerous press releases and stories and generated creative advertising concepts.
As online editor of the Banff Centre Blog, I collaborated with writers from across campus to help them capture stories about the Centre, publishing these weekly on the blog and promoting them through the organization’s social media channels.
